The pineal gland (eye) is hand carved into lapis lazuli - which has been treasured by royalty, priests and holy healers for thousands of years, adorning precious objects with its mysterious blue. A favorite of the ancient Egyptians, who considered lapis lazuli to contain immortal powers, this stone is all about stories, histories and authenticity. We each have our ‘story’, our own version of history which we cling to and identify with, both positively and negatively. lapis lazuli coaxes you to see the truth you are hiding from and put down your security blanket of your own stories. It asks you to do the hard work of releasing, reminding you that the past doesn’t actually exist in this moment, and empowers you to take responsibility for your own choices.
